2022: Bahama
is a nice young doe. Her dam, Kokomo, milked
3532 pounds at 305 days as a 2 year old first
freshener.
2023: Bahama's depth of body
is particularly noteworthy for a dry yearling
and
she also shows tremendous width and strength
throughout. Her dam, Kokomo, would definitely
still be here except she developed severe
mastitis and was sold.
2024: Bahama is milking
between 11 and 12 pounds/day in July and did
well in the show ring getting a Res. Grand
Champion at the Nebraska State Fair with stiff
competition.
2025:
Bahama has a body that is getting better and
better! She is large, deep and long. Bahama had
staph dermatitis (skin infection) that would go
away for a short time, then reappear. We believe
this did affect her milk production this year as
well. It was a strangely wet year here in
Nebraska causing various issues with goats. We
never want to complain about rain, but the
difficulty was wet pens and pasture that did not
dry out. Bahama did give us an outstanding
daughter in 2025: Platte Valley RJ Bimini, 4th
place Senior kid at the 2025 National Show.
Bahama will be
laparoscopically AI'd to Kastdemur's
Vicco for February 2026 kids. |
