We
thought Quincy's dam, Breezy Way Prince
Gabriella, located at Raintree-Calico Dairy
Goats in Wisconsin, would be very likely to have
the conformation and milk production we were
looking for and boy did she blow the top off our
expectations by making the 2019 ADGA Top Ten
list for milk production. Gabby landed at #5 on
the list with 3800# of milk. That's a HUGE
accomplishment! Thank you Deb Macke and family
for this extremely sharp and dairy son of
Gabby!!
It's
possible to underestimate this buck until you
get your hands on him. This guy is the real deal
for both power and dairyness. His rump is as
flat as a board and he has the longest rump of
our group of Junior Herdsires. Add up all that
plus his potential for outstanding milk
production and we think this buck has a very
bright future!!
Quincy has grown up
considerably and at age 2 is easily the tallest
and longest buck in the pen. he is about as
dairy and flat-boned as a buck can get. Quincy
appraised 88 VEV (we are really proud of this!)
and we are happy to report he has been
collected. His first daughters will freshen in
2023 - most of which presently reside in the
Raintree-Calico herd. We look forward to
seeing his daughter, Nicola, freshen in 2023 and
will work with Raintree to evaluate the udders
on his daughters. |
