Kismet is a beautiful
balanced daughter of Champion Kissme.
Kismet had a rough kidding
in 2018 that ended with a C-section and
triplets. She bounced back in a big way, topping
our milk test for the second year and winning her
first Championship and BOB as a 5 year old at
the end of the season!
Kismet's DHIR milk numbers
speak volumes about this highly productive and
beautiful doe. We were also pleased to learn
that Kismet earned the American LaMancha
Breeder's Association Gold Earring award in 2017
for her 295 day lactation production of 3,190
pounds! Kismet milked through 2018, 209 and part
of 2020. She would have happily continued
production but we decided it was time for a
well-deserved rest and we desperately would like
another daughter from Kismet. This year she
earned the American LaMancha Breeder's
Association Extended Lactation Gold Award (6000#
of milk or more in 600-699 days) as well as the
Lifetime Gold Award (10,000# Milk for her
production of 10, 153# in 2 lactations! We are
very proud of this doe!
Kismet's
daughter, Karma, earned her Milk Star as a first
freshener, earning the ALBA Silver earring award
for production over 2000# and Copper earring
award for first fresheners over 2000#.
Kismet
will be bred to *B Calico Fields Q Quincy whose
dam, Breezy Way Prince Gabriella 3*M, made #5 on
the 2019 ADGA Breed Leaders (Top Ten List) for
milk production producing 3800# of milk in under
300 days! We think this will surely be an
outstanding cross for continued award winning
milk production! |
